Medical Marijuana Identification Card (MMIC)

To create a registry database and state-authorized medical marijuana identification card (MMIC) for verification of qualified patients and their primary caregivers, the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) established the Medical Marijuana Identification Card Program (MMICP). Participation in this MMICP is voluntary. Additionally, the MMICP web-based registry allows law enforcement and the public to verify the validity of a qualified patient’s or primary caregiver’s MMICP as authorization to possess, grow, transport, and/or use medical marijuana within California.

On January 21, 2021, Governor Newsom issued Executive Order N-01-21 (PDF), which impacts the expiration date of Medical Marijuana Identification Cards (MMIC) issued under Health and Safety Code section 11362.71, for current MMIC cardholders and their designated primary caregivers. Therefore, according to this executive order, the validity of MMICs that would have otherwise expired on or after March 4, 2020, will remain until the Order is modified or rescinded, or until the State of Emergency is terminated, whichever happens sooner.

Effective January 1, 2018 we will be serving recreational customers. All customers must have proof of age of 21 or older. Customers may now reside outside of California.

Medical Marijuana Identification Card (MMIC)

Only customers with California State issued Medical Marijuana Identification Cards will be allowed to purchase products containing over 100mg of cannabis. Your current local rec card issued from a local physician does not qualify. Therefore, obtaining an MMIC also provides tax benefits. See Notice of Sales Tax above.
